Beaver Scouts cater for boys and girls between the ages of six and eight years old, and is the newest of the sections within the Scouting movement, having only been formed in 1982.
The Beaver section is known as a Colony, and upon investiture members are expected to abide by the general principles of the Scout Association, incorporating the Beaver Scout Promise:
I promise to do my best,
To be kind and helpful,
And to love my God.
The activities of our Colony are designed to offer a balanced programme enabling the members to develop good habits for their health and safety, awareness of life outside the home, and to have fun.
Meetings are held on Tuesdays, between 6:30 and 7:30pm, during normal school term time.
